“We will never stay onsite at Alton Towers again if this property is available! Closer to the park entrance than hotels, no need to battle the monorail crowds. Georgina the owner was extremely friendly & her communication for check in was excellent. The home itself was newly renovated to an exceptionally high standard. Perfectly clean with all the amenities provided for a short stay. Highly recommended and we will definitely be booking again if lucky to find it available.”

“2 families stayed whilst visiting Alton Towers. We couldn’t have stayed any closer, The Old Barn literally on the doorstep. The property have a very homely feel which made relaxing easy. There was plenty of room for the 12 of us. We could even all sit together around the large table in the kitchen to eat together. Beds were very comfortable and the location was quiet. “The property has potential to be beautiful with a lot of care and attention. As it stands it is extremely outdated and tatty looking and definitely not very clean and certainly not comfortable. The mattress was overhanging the base of the bed, the sheets were too small and the pillows had very little life left in them although the duvet cover, pillow cases and sheets were clean. The whole hotel needs a good clean and maybe the use of a hoover would make a little difference. We had food in the...
