Ayushi greeted us warmly with a smile and a shawl, making our check-in a breeze. We booked our stay through Expedia, and the hotel is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport. They even got us a roll-away bed, which was a great touch. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The restaurant staff, especially NEHA and SONU, were outstanding, and the entire team was very friendly. The live dosa and gol gappa counters were amazing! Overall, it was an incredible experience.

Room was clean, but not spacious, sofa does not have back support pillows, housekeeping was slow to respond. Shower not equipped with safety (grab) bar. It is not accessible to senior citizens. During lunch time 50% of furniture were undergoing paint work. Paint emitting a strong smell, causing headaches and allergic reaction. Management could have find other place to paint. Food was tasty and staff was friendly

Courteous and very helpful staff at front desk, housekeeping as well as restaurant. Variety in breakfast and dinner menu daily. In close proximity from airport and mandir. Overall a good hotel and I would consider selecting for my next stay in the future.

The room was extremely smelly and small then expected, don't know exist were throwing out the foul aur or pulling in. In room dining experience was great as food was good, but restaurant dining experience was poor due less staff members and slow service.

Great Stay Let Down by Frequent Power Outages

The rooms were clean & the service by staff was respectful, courteous, & hospitable. Breakfast & Dinner options were good & delicious. It was a shame that during my stay there were numerous power outages.

Very Helpful staff. Airport pickup and drop off. We stayed for one night to tour Ayodhya. We didn't have any tours planned, but after speaking to the staff, we were advised that a rickshaw to Ram Temple was the best option and they called us a rickshaw. This wasn't any extra service that we had to pay for. We agreed on our tour price directly with the rickshaw. Very good experience.

Checked into this place after picking up family. The location and reception area were good. Atul (if I remember the name right) in the reception area was very pleasant and professional. We had 2 rooms and as we went upstairs, the first impression was yikes! The carpet in the corridor is awful - the WORST ever. Rooms were very small & basic for a 4 star. Bathroom was tiny! Shower stall was super tiny & barely safe - risk of tripping and falling. Worst of all, in bathrooms, they use some blue-green disinfectant tablets that smell so strong! I constantly sneezed and by the second afternoon, got bad cold! Cleaning supplies in the corridor also smelled so strong! Hotel should look into changing the corridor into non-carpet flooring (like the 4 star in Varanasi, hotel Arcadia), and use fragrance-free cleaning supplies and disinfectants. In terms of room, bath, and corridor size and quality, the 4 star in Varanasi was ten times better! This one felt like a 3 star at max. Housekeeping staff is great though & very hard working - management needs to give them better supplies. BEST part about this hotel is the dining staff! Just fantastic people, truly great Indian hospitality, and excellent food. Though we interacted with 3 to 4 amazing staff members, I didn't catch all the names except Sunny (I think), but they were all great. We had an amazing trip to Ayodhya and eating food at this place was integral to it.

this is an excellent hotel to visit this sacred city. modern with nice rooms and very friendly staff. Over and above this, the hotel has a fabulous on site restaurant with excellent breakfast and dinner - we really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Ira by Orchid Ayodhya was an awesome choice our family made for the Ayodhya trip. We had a wonderful time. All the staff at this property are amazing and excellent across the spectrum from Front Desk to House Keeping to Restaurant and the Conceirge. The guidance and help offered to our family from US was just very good, kind and sincere. The staff make you feel at home. Highly recommend this Property for those visting Ayodhya from India and from abroad or US.

Probably the best Hotel in Ayodhya area

Ira by Orchid probably is the best hotel in Ayodhya. I was visiting from out of country along with older parents by car. From check-in to parking to elevators to room service to on site restaurant, everything was perfect! The staff is very attentive and caring. The location is 15-20 away from the main Ram Janam Bhoomi Temple but this is actually an advantage because the temple area is very crowded and cars were not allowed within 1 KM of the temple. Food was great, in particular the breakfast buffet.
