A lovely stay

A warm welcome, lovely room with a view to the sea. Room is modern and clean, just right. Location perfect, a 2 minute walk to the sea front, would stay again.

The best hosts

I spent a few nights at the hotel with my family of 4. The hosts John and Maria were very kind and helped us with everything. I can only recommend it to anyone with children or pets.

As it was out of season breakfast was not available. The one evening meal I had was very nice. Unfortunately as I am a real ale drinker I did not spend much time in the bar as none was available. I would have to visit in peak season to give a proper assessment but my stay was pleasant enough

Lovely place and staff!

Lovely place to stay, food there is abit on the spenny side but was nice, room was red hot and no fans, beds abit hard and pillow not great but that’s down to preference, it has a nice , clean luxurious feel to it , decor nice. I would bare in mind that If you are there on business and need an early night there was music playing downstairs till done 11pm which could be heard from the room but wasn’t to bad.

I stopped at the Fairbourne on my drive up North. Actually a pretty great stay. My room was huge, recently renovated, big TV and nice bathroom. Very clean place, it was easy to park and the staff were very friendly. I would stay again.

It was really good stay for a family but not much activities around for the children. Although if you’re adults then I would definitely stay again there! Neighbourhood is really good and so the surrounding countryside quieter! I love it! Thanks Kevin and Kaith for being helpful!

Great location for hikes in the area. Hotel located close to the beech with the miniature railway running out front. Nice bar area with a good selection. Unfortunately I can’t review the food as the kitchen was closed due to staffing issue.

Staff were great, room lovely,it had a tv a kettle etc,and en-suite, we had a couple of gripes,no hand towel in bathroom,due to the lack of breakfast cheif no breakfast available,food on evening was great, well provided bar and lounge,they were under new management so a few kinks to iron out..would i stop there again.....definately. P.s, there is a pebel beech 5 mins walk away,we saw this

Nice place, very friendly and accommodating staff, beautifully comfortable bed and clean. Good food but service was a litttle slow, we gather this is a newly opened property so.expected a few 'teething problems. I would recommend having a bell on reception or more presence there by staff as we had to chase them up (out the back of property through kitchen)to check out and pay...not sure everyone would bother?! Great place, good value, would definitely stay again.

Not deluxe!!

Deluxe isn’t this, I’d of hated to stay in a standard room! Bed extremely hard and no mattress topper, so you could feel the ridge between the two single beds pushed together. No usb plugs, no storage and 3 hangers. Looked in need of a good clean and pain in places. Bird poo on the already dirty window, stains on the desk chair and carpet. Bathroom small, shower door kept sliding open and hair on the wall. On a positive, good breakfast, charging points for electric car, friendly staff and near to the beach.

John , Kev and all the other staff at the hotel go out their way to help , chatting and making sure you enjoy your stay. This hotel has a lovely family friendly feel about it . John went out his way to make sure myself my wife and son all enjoyed are stay here and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The room we had was spacious and clean. It had a lovely view of the mountains and the sea. The hotel has free parking. The food at the hotel is of an excellent standard. Make sure you try the sunday lunch . This hotel is dog friendly which my son enjoyed going round chatting to the other guests and making new 4 legged friends . Again all other guests making him feel very settled and again family oriented environment shone through. There was a high standard of entertainment whilst we stayed, with a festival . The hotel also has posters advertising upcoming events. Nice bar area , seperate function room which had the DJ /band and event whist we stayed. The location of this hotel is fabulous with shops,train links and Fairbourne beach all within a very short walk. There is also a steam train you can take and catch the ferry to Barmouth which we did. Overall this hotel is a real hidden gem. We will be returning soon.

One brew !

It’s a nice place for a pit stop. Only one brew permitted with your breakfast, even though it arrives 20 mins before your breakfast arrives. The EV charger is temperamental, make sure the staff have activated it after you have plugged in and paid. Other than that, all good.
