We stayed in the historic main hotel upstairs and it was a big room. The staff was helpful although they are very busy. The restaurant was good and had a nice view of the river.

Friendly, efficient check in and out. Good breakfast buffet, with attentive staff. Nice to be able to park right outside unit - especially as it rained during our stay. Before the rain, it was handy having the river walk on the property after our long drive to Fairbanks. Good location on the Chena, yet only about a 10-minute drive to most places we went - restaurants, university, Riverboat Discovery, Pioneer Park/Alaskaland, Antique Car Museum, and just over 20 minutes to visit Santa in North Pole!

I spent two nights here and had a wonderful stay. The location by the river is beautiful and very peaceful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Everything was great, and I really enjoyed my time here. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay in Fairbanks.

Very nice property. All the amenities are good. Especially the shuttle service was good. We missed the shuttle from the rail depot, since the resort name was not on the shuttle and the website didn’t say there was a shuttle from the rail depot. When we called from the station nobody picked up at the front desk. Otherwise everything was good. They dropped us at the tour site, museum etc at no extra charge
