Beware. Scam. Expedia should not be listing this “hotel.” We arrived at night with a prepaid and confirmed Expedia reservation in English, only to told by people who arrived in their car that the “hotel” (it looks nothing like the pictures) was full. They then tried to take us to another place with another name. Furthermore, I don’t expect Turkish people to speak English but maybe they shouldn’t post in English on Expedia.

İletişim sorunu vardı. Bir de kahvaltı dahil konaklamada bahçede güzel bir kahvaltı beklerken çarşıdaki simitçiye gönderildik. Orada da her aldığımızı tek tek not aldılar. Bunun bilgilendirmesi bize yapılmadı. Sanki insanlardan kahvaltı dilenirmiş gibi hissettim. İşletme sahibinden bilgi verilmesini beklerdim. Geri kalan çoğu şey normaldi.Özellikle o bahçede kahvaltı yapmak istemiştim. Ama olmadı. Yer ayırtırken bu dönemde biz böyle yapıyoruz. Müşterilerimizi başka yere yolluyorız demeleri gerekirdi. Seçtiğimizden farklı bir oda verildi. Sorunu bildirince alternatif sundular. Zaten gece geç gelip sabah kahvaltıdan sonra çıkacağımız için sorun olmadı. Kahvaltı 9'da çıkıyormuş. Bize 8de olacağı söylenmişti. Feribota yetişeceğimizi belirtince telafi etmek adına bize ellerinden geleni yaptılar. Teşekkür ederiz, samimiyetlerine güveniyoruz.

Gaia taş konak

Bozcaada dönüşü günübirlik kaldık. Otel yeni açıldığı için tüm eşyalar sıfır. Kahvaltı yeterli ve gayet iyi. Mehmet bey ve annesinin muhabbeti aile ortamında olduğunuzu hissettiriyor. Çarşıya yakın olduğu için yeme içme yerleri bulunuyor.

Otel yaklaşık 100 yıllık tarihi konağın restorasyon yapılarak yeni bir otel haline getirilmesiyle ortaya çıkmış. Geyikli'de her yere yürüme mesafesinde. Bozcaada feribot iskelesine 3 km. Bahçesi, binası çok otantik. İşletme sahibi çok anlayışlı ve yardımsever. Teşekkürler
