The hotel is located at a very good location. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is helpful. I would definitely recommend a stop for Hot Chocolate even if you are not staying here.

Staff were very helpful. We had dinner there once and two breakfasts. The food was very good. The weather did not cooperate. However, we traveled to the north side of the Snaefellsnes peninsula and had decent weather there. There is much to see in this area. Its location is very rural; thus, other restaurants, grocery stores, swimming pools, etc. are some distance away.

This property is in a great location at a crossroads of exploring the Snaefellsness Peninsula. The staff were so nice and also very helpful, particularly James in the restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and substantial. A couple of minor complaints were that the bathroom shower drain and extremely high shower curtain did not keep the bathroom floor dry. And our room was quite a distance from the parking.

Hotel restaurant was great for dinner and had a fabulous breakfast that’s included. The room was really nice, the bed was really comfortable and had a big window that we were able to watch the Northern Lights from - the only downside is the door is old and very loud to open/close which can be disruptive if travelling with a partner who wants to sleep and you want to go outside.
