My wife and I spent a very nice evening at the Stottsville Inn. They have an excellent staff that makes sure you have a wonderful stay. They have an inviting bar with interesting cocktails. I can confidently recommend a visit to the Inn for dinner and drinks or a charming place to spend the night!

The charm & character were unbeatable. The restaurant/tavern was excellent. The food was great & the bar caries a good selection of alcohol. I prefer a place like this over a traditional hotel, because of the history & attention of the staff.

The hotel has a restaurant and bar in the building which is very convenient. Plenty of parking. The hotel is an old building that is showing some wear and tear. Part of the charm. So if you are looking for something more modern where all the finishing touches are pristine, this is not the place. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was a great one night stop while visiting family.

We enjoyed a wonderful overnight stay. Historic inn; very well-maintained; excellent food and libations; live music on the weekend. Lovely suite, very comfortable bed, nice amenities. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, providing excellent service. Lovely large outdoor dining area available. Highly recommend.

We really enoyed our stay here. Just one night but was close to where we needed to go. We had dinner at the restaurant which was delicious. The breakfast to me was lacking. It was bagels, and fruit salad, coffee and orange juice. I think they could have added a loaf of bread and maybe some yogurts or croissants/pastries. Even a box of cereal would have been welcomed.

Historic Inn with lots of character. Very clean room. Plush towels. I thought it was odd that there was a fitted sheet, but, no top sheet, just a blanket and comforter. The bathroom was missing a light bulb. The continental breakfast was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon booking, I informed the hotel of our early arrival. Yet, when we were ready to check in, no one was prepared. We received the room key on a paper clip and town post-it note. Thankfully the room was ready and we were able to get in. Pizza was subpar, but the bartender brought it to our room which was kind. The restaurant clearly takes priority of the wait/hotel staff. The room did not have any signage about emergency exits, WiFi, breakfast, etc. There was also no way to contact the front desk (still not sure if there is one). We had a late night event and returned after 10pm. The main entrance was locked. Temps were in the low 40s and we had to wait until another guest arrived to let us in. Why weren’t we told about the passcode to the door? The morning after, we left very early but forgot something in the closet. We called the hotel at least 5 times to no avail. Thankfully, guests were coming and going so we were able to enter the hotel and gain access to our room via the housekeeper and retrieve the item. Overall - poor communication, unhelpful staff, and clear prioritization of the restaurant/bar.

We stayed at the Stottsville Inn while visiting the area for a funeral, and it ended up being such a warm and comfortable place to come back to at the end of the day. The atmosphere is wonderful. The rooms aren’t modern, but that’s honestly part of the charm. It feels homey and welcoming rather than like a typical hotel, and the mattress in our room was extremely comfortable. The entire staff was friendly and made us feel at home. One thing that may be helpful for first-time guests: there isn’t a separate hotel check-in desk. Just let the hostess in the restaurant know you’re checking into the inn. You’ll get an actual room key—which I personally loved—and the stairs to the guest rooms are located off the hallway by the bar. At night, doors close and lock off the restaurant areas while still allowing inn guests access to the front entrance, so it feels very secure and private once everything settles down. The restaurant itself is absolutely worth visiting. The food was superb, the bar was great, and inn guests receive 10% off at the restaurant. Both nights we stayed there was live music, which added so much to the atmosphere. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you’re someone who goes to bed early, you can hear some of the restaurant and bar activity upstairs until after the restaurant closes around 10 p.m. It didn’t bother us, but it’s worth knowing. In the morning, an employee sets up a simple little breakfast area with coffee, orange juice, melon, bagels and fres
