The bathroom was dirty there were pubic hairs on the bathtub and toilet, the ac didn’t work and there were kids slamming doors at 12:30 am in the rooms next to us. The woman working at the breakfast cafe was rude and rushing us to order.

We stopped to overnight rest to continue further journey next day. And the receptionist was sooper kind to book us in 5th floor facing away from the main rd. We were able to sleep peacefully for few hrs, freshened up and went along with next part of our trip.

Short but happy stay

Drove into town from the middle of the state for a family wedding. Really appreciated the early checkin to allow us to change and get to the church on time! Front desk staff in general was friendly and helpful and seemed to be enjoying the occasion as much as we were.

The person who started her shift early to help get me punched in was super nice. She punched in because there was some irate obnoxious guy who was being very loud and taking up the other two register people. He was beyond annoying and loud for no good reason and they handled him perfectly.

Hotel was nice, reserved the room on Expedia, and was offered to buy hotel breakfast on the app, which I did(most quality hotels include breakfast), was billed for it and the hotel staff had no idea what I was talking about, did not help me in any way to correct the situation. Even asked just for a coffee and wanted to charge 5 dollars for it. So I just hit up McDonald’s. This is such a small thing but next time it will be Holliday inn express for sure. Small things are important.

None of the rooms were ready for checkin at 3:00 - there were about 12 people waiting - ridiculous! They had a new employee at the desk to tell the people - they should have had a manager! Also, the shampoo bottle in my room wasn't filled and I called the front desk for a do not disturb sign - the one they sent was broken and on the floor - under my door. I hope no one came in my room while I was out!
