This was a beautiful inn right near several restaurants and shops. The room was spacious and clean. It was very well-maintained. We missed a coffee maker in the room but the desk clerk (I didn’t get his name) made sure coffee was available early in the breakfast room. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for chadds ford sites, restaurants and longwood gardens. Staff was friendly and helpful. Complementary Continental breakfast was a nice surprise. Only comment would be the pillows. All 4 were quite firm. Might be good to have 2 firm and 2 other. We could have probably gotten others but got in late and didn’t want to bother.

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Well maintained historic rooms are so charming. The man at the front desk could not have been more pleasant or helpful. He recommended a wonderful Italian restaurant just a short walk away and it was amazing! The next day about an hour after checking out (but fortunately not having left the area), I realized I’d left my kindle in the room. Within minutes of a phone call to see if they’d found it, it was waiting at the front desk for me. The owner even called me back to make sure I’d gotten it. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in the area.
