Outstanding young Husband and Wife making everything perfect for our stay. Several places to eat with in 10 minutes. Has a nice spacious sitting room / living room to relax. Umbrella are by the door for guests. Love the decor.
Wonderful B&B with stunning antique furniture, endless animal ornaments & pictures. Hidden down a narrow Devon track & a working farm with countryside views. Ours was a very comfortable room with balcony.
Super hospitality from Alison & good breakfast.
We enjoyed drive to Exmouth & Summer Cross on opposite semis of the Ex estuary.
What a gorgeous property and Alison the host couldn’t be any more friendly. Accommodation great, breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend to all if you are looking for a quiet getaway.
Alison is the consummate host. She is friendly, very knowledgeable and goes out of her way to accommodate requests. We had the small double which was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and cooked freshly to order. A very enjoyable stay
A lovely warm welcome from the host and her dog.
Really nice place the room was large and airy, with unique decoration.
En-suite bathroom was massive overall very good and highly recommended.
It was ok, but to get location was not easy. Requested the host to send location instead of post code. Overall everything was good host helpful made my breakfast earlier because l had to go early.
Was greeted in the car park and taken to my room, shown where breakfast was and the guest lounge. Alison was very friendly and very helpful with directions, not sure I would have made it to my destination without them!
Area is quiet, room was cool which was great in this heat, bed was comfy, and breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend!
The farmhouse is in the middle of nowhere - perfect for some peace and quiet in the countryside. Alison is a lovely host. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of amenities so we had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was generous and tasty.
And Rex the Border Collie was a lovely bonus!
I think it would be fair to say that for comfort and privacy this accommodation was top-notch. The host was accommodating, the environment was clean and welcoming, Alison could not do enough to support her guests and accommodate their needs wherever possible. Although finding the property was likely to be difficult, Alison gave clear directions which made it much easier although if you’re not comfortable on driving on single lane country roads, be prepared because at least 1 mile of the journey between the main road and the house is very rural. Watching the deer in the fields made this trip extra special!
Great service, lovely landlady and a home cooked breakfast each day. And for a really competitive price. Requires a short drive on country roads to get there but it's in a nice quiet location, no outside noise.
Room was a bit small but for a solo traveler it wasnt a big issue, you don't have a lot of room to move around in it. Maybe a bit cosy for a couple.
Definitely worth the stay, I only hope I can get a room next year.
My stay was wonderful although a little tricky to find at first. If you book your stay here use the postcode EX6 7XF which will take you to Pennycombe Farm. It’s a further half a mile on the left.
