This a charming and unique place to stay. The building is very old and has been decorated and furnished with lovely and authentic art and furniture. The room was very comfortable and several convenient and thoughtful amenities. The breakfast was simple but good and the staff was super friendly. It's perfectly situated close to the waterfront and the historic downtown. It also turns out that it's haunted, although we no extraordinary experiences. :-) A super fun and different, but confortable, place to stay!

Why stay at a big box hotel/motel when boutiques like this one are available? We were welcomed by the front desk in a manner unlike any other hotel we have stayed at and offered a choice between a room with a 4th floor view or a room with a TV. We picked the room with a view overlooking the marina in a very walkable downtown area. The hotel and rooms were decorated with antiques rather than the usual hotel/motel industrial furniture. Very comfortable and inviting. There was a model ship in the common area on the 4th floor. Not the sort of thing you find at a Holiday Inn or Hilton or Best Western chain. Actual metal room keys, not an RFID credit card key. Basic continental breakfast -- coffee, juices, yogurt, sweet rolls and bagels. Just right. The hotel shared the building with an Irish-themed pub (Gallaghers) which had an outstanding menu and very friendly wait staff. After dinner, just walk back to the room.

Parking was great. Breakfast was good, but the coffee was bad every day. The room was clean. Amenities: there is a TV in the bedroom. Most of the staff I dealt with seemed to really dislike their job. There were two really great people, but I didn’t see them more than once. This venue has tons of charm and great location. Maybe staff was having an off week. Then again, this place was pretty expensive to be treated
