The Pinc Lady has been the highlight of our trip so far! The house itself is fantastic, wonderfully clean, and cozy. On their recommendation, we ate dinner at the Humboldt Bay Bistro, which was delightful and very tasty. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here, just be sure to read the fine print! I was surprised to realize the bathrooms were shared; not a problem, as all three were clean and wonderfully appointed after all.

Our stay at the Pinc Lady was perfect! The Victorian house is amazing! Our bedroom was huge and had an incredibly comfortable bed. Our hostess, J., was very helpful with where to go for dinner and the history of the house and area. We walked to the old town part of Eureka and there was an arts festival happening. What a cool town. We will be back,

The mansion is amazing and worth seeing, but it's a Victorian mansion and is more of a museum then a working inn. Also, while the owners are very nice, the amenities are definitely lacking and you really are not allowed to do anything inside or within the grounds with cameras and detectors everywhere except the rooms. Be aware of the no shoe policy in the house and the lack of private baths. It really feels more like an Air B&B. Still it was a nice room to come back to every night and unique experience.

First off, stunning. The home is beautiful. It is well decorated. It is meticulously cleaned. The person running it promptly will greet you and go over everything. It is at the end of a street, so traffic is not bad and at night there is not a lot of noise. Depending on which room you are in, you can see the bay or the town. Because it is on the second level, you can keep the windows open for fresh cool air all night. I gave it 4/5 stars on "how the property is kept". This rating was only based on the exterior because it was under construction when we went. Therefore, parts of the home were taped, covered and loose material was spread about the yard. I gave 3/5 stars regarding amenities because of the bathroom situation. I realize we no longer use chamber pots, so logistics of a bathroom was probably an issue for the people planning out the new layout. Not sure that can be resolved in the future. I personally was not prepared to share (especially with the nightly cost). That it is my only issue with the home. Because it is a shared bathroom, If I was on a girls trip or having an overnight sleep over with the girls, staying for a birthday, baby, wedding shower (or some other occasion) and knew everyone renting on the top level I would do it again. Matter of fact, I am recommending it to my besties. I just would not want to share with strangers, but that is just me.

This is a beautiful, historic, and absolutely lovely property! It is transitioning to have breakfast and other food amenities. Because this is a historic house, there are no bathrooms in the bedrooms. It is set up nicely with three well equipped bathrooms to share. Additionally, the carpets are very nice, but you must remove your shoes in order to walk into your bedroom. The beds were absolutely comfortable. The rooms were spacious. The television did not work. The staff was very helpful, but off site. When it gets fully developed, it will be fabulous.

Delightful stay at this historic property. Great communication from the inn keepers with detailed emails and instructions. Mario walked us through the check in process and was extremely accomodating with the rooms for me and my son's stay. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean. Beautiful view of the Carson Mansion directly across the street on a quiet residential cul de sac with some view of the water. Plenty of toiletry supplies in bathroom and a full kitchen with coffee/ tea bar downstairs. Would highly recommend, especially if you are fan of history, architecture and interesting places. Close to downtown Eureka and near Woodley Island. Don't miss Dick Taylor craft chocolate if you visit Eureka!

It certainly is a cute space however I wouldn’t stay here again….no where on the booking does it state you have to share the bathroom Im a germaphobe and didn’t like that at all, however very good supply of toiletries also the bedroom was very big and great windows there was also a minuscule heater and the cutest little fridge that you could plug in that was a really nice touch it’s very very small but we just had some small snacks so it worked perfect! I’m originally from England and it reminded me of home!
