The man that checked us in was so friendly and helpful. At 5:00 a.m. i needed something from my car, and was so grateful to see a security gaurd patroling the parking lot.

Lobby area is newly updated. Staff is excellent! Rooms are slightly dated, but not badly. Would definitely recommend this properly. Everything was very clean. Close to activities, food and shopping.

Breakfast hands down was the best part of this property. Room had a smell, had to open the window to air our. Maybe the carpet? We also enjoyed the pool, it was nice, but jacuzzi had a green color to it.

This is the first time I stayed at best western plus bayshore inn and here on out the only place I’ll stay. Amazing free breakfast, two hot tubs, a beautiful koi pond and most importantly a clean room with comfy bed. I was initially sad coming to Humboldt after cancelling my Hawaii trip, but staying here cheered me up. I love the gentle sound of the waterfall and frogs at night. This hotel has a lot of character in the best way possible. Please don’t change ANYTHING!! Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Great location (mall and Walmart next door, lots of food choices) and clean big room. Comfortable bed and breakfast was really good. Did have some bright red stains on the carpet. Only issue was the amenities. Hot tubs were off and very cold. They did turn them on and we were able to get in an hour later. Washer was broken and dryer was off in our building. Had to track one down in the other wing. The keys stopped working on one of our rooms but they did rekey and fix it quickly. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Despite the amenity issue we would stay here again.
