“We could not do the visit due to a family emergency and needed to move the dates of our stay.. We had been scheduled to stay in one of the junior suites and were excited and looking forward to our trip. When approached regarding moving our stay the hotel staff were blunt, unhelpful and refused to even consider moving our visit to another date over the summer. Clearly this is a luxury hotel without any soul, pride or sense of retaining it’s reputation.. This is the poorest treatment we have had...

“First of all Bayeaux is one of the most charming towns we visited in France. The location of the Declic hotel is the best in town. You are across the street from the weekly massive market. The market was better than most I've seen in big cities--fresh fish, freshly baked bread, fruit and vegetables galore, tons of cooked food, cheese, meats and lots of hot prepared food too. “Hotel muy bien ubicado para hacer la ruta del desembarco de Normandia. La recepción del hotel no esta atendida, ya que el personal esta en el bar dando las comidas o cenas. Personal amable, el desayuno no merece la pena cogerlo, no ponen nada mas que cafe expresso y 3 lochas de jamon york y unos trozos de pan por un precio cada uno de 12€. La comida del restaurante tampoco merece la pena y ademas es caro. Merecen la pena las vistas desde la habitación ”
