Vacations Close To Ethnographic Museum

My overall stay during the week July 7th was great. The environment was calm, clean, and entertaining. The environment is welcoming which means alot.

We brought our daughters here to celebrate their 21st birthday and booked through 3rd party. We chose "rooms assigned at check in" and were able to get rooms near each other on the same floor - that was great. We were on the backside of the hotel, but that's expected for the price and room choice we made. The Good: The location is hard to beat. It is right in the middle of it all. The rooms were spacious and appeared well kept - nothing obviously dirty or broken. At check in, we got some vouchers for free play or a drink which was a nice perk for new rewards members. The elevators were spilt by floors which made the rides much faster. We reserved a cabana by the pool for the first morning. That was a great experience - relaxing, friendly service, and a perfect way to start the day. The Bad: the worst part was the emergency water shut off for nearly all of the room floors for 5.5 hrs during our last night. I understand emergencies happen, but the only thing they offered us were mini water bottles for the inconvenience. Not enough to fill the toilet tank or wash up. They said we could come back for more, but having to go down to the lobby and carry up a bunch of mini water bottles just added to the inconvenience. In a normal place that wouldn't have been a that big of a deal, but Vegas is an all-night kind of place so having to use the public toilets before going to bed and not being able to shower after a night out was not great.

I had a wonderful stay at Conrad Las Vegas. The room was spacious, clean, modern, and offered beautiful views of the city. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel is conveniently located with great dining, shopping, and entertainment options all within Resorts World. The property felt upscale and well-maintained, and I appreciated the overall atmosphere and amenities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury experience in Las Vegas.

Loved my stay at the Palazzo. King Room with strip view. Very clean and roomy. Loved the area on the strip...not to busy and close to everything. Great food options also. Housekeeping did a great job and the room was nice and cool. Loved the curtains were automated with a push of button; nice TVs in all the rooms....love the small table and chairs to eat at as needed/ Would have love a refrig in the room. The one in there has all the expensive items you have to purchase and cant touch without getting charged. Nice linen and towels...we arrived on a day the computer was down and had to wait to check in....I know computers have issues but it made the start of the trip a little aggravating...stored our luggage and had to wait in the room to get it after we called...it took over an hour and we needed to get dressed due to a dinner reservtion and concert that night...we could not leave the room until it came...they could not leave it unless you were in room....overall great stay with a view glitches but very nice and clean.

Overall, our stay at the Palazzo was "ok", but there were several aspects of the experience that were disappointing. My biggest concern was the substantial incidental hold placed on our debit card at check-in. This was not explained to us at check-in. We stayed five nights, and the Palazzo placed a $750 hold ($150 per night) on our card. We don't charge purchases to our room, so having that amount of our available funds tied up for the duration of our stay was inconvenient. Ironically, we were forced to charge purchases to the room this trip since what little available funds we had left were for expenses outside the Palazzo. We also experienced a complete water outage for more than an hour during our stay. Unfortunately, this occurred while we were getting ready for a 2:00 p.m. show at the Sphere. I was in the middle of a shower when the water stopped and had to rinse the soap off using bottled water we happened to have in the room. While I understand unexpected issues can occur, this was a significant inconvenience, especially at a luxury resort.
