Loved the Ponderosa! So cozy & relaxing. The river view & decks with the hammock swings were amazing. Elk right outside our room on the river . We will definitely be back for our next stay.

Lodge was old and a little dirty, but it well-surpassed our expectations. Staff were nice and helpful (except for the time they barged in our room in the morning without notice). River sound was also nice - I wish those mesh screens weren't torn and we could leave the windows open. Overall, we were happy and may return.

Darrel was very kinda and welcoming. The place itself is super cute and cozy and tucked away from everything. It was the perfect escape. Next time, I want to check out the hot tub and spend time on the little balcony. Looking forward to staying at Ponderosa Lodge again!

Our room(s) were great. We actually stayed in two different rooms during our stay and both were wonderful. We had a bit of trouble with the electronic locking system, but the manager was extremely helpful and responded quickly to resolve the issue. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the responsive staff. This is the place to stay when visiting Estes Park.
