Nicky's resort is tucked into a little spot behind a restaurant. It is nice to be able to walk to dinner or grab a drink and sit next to the river. There was trash around our cabin which was quickly addressed when I asked. We were disappointed the pool was not ready for use as advertised. We were provided many towels. To enjoy the view you have to look up and try to ignore the parking lot. Overall, I don't think the experience lived up to the cost.

We didn’t have shampoo in the bathroom, couldn’t check in with the code provided and witnessed other parties having the same problem. They advertised heated pool June to September but the pool area was in disarray. Disappointed.

The location was great! 2 miles from RMNP entrance, Wapati restaurant on property(really great food and staff), 5 min to town and situated right on the river. Unfortunately I did not ck my email so did not get ck in info till after trying to locate an office? Beds were very uncomfortable, shower had a footprint in it and decomposing caulking, debris under bed and in corners and trash around the property. Loud, late night, outdoor fighting between family members in multiple rooms. We would not stay here again.

This resort was probably fantastic in the 1980's but it's gotten pretty run down. The hotel room wasn't terrible but resort is a very misleading name; motel is more appropriate. The room appeared to have been recently renovated, but like it was a bad DIY job. The laminated floors were obviously done wrong and felt spongy as did the outside walkway on the second floor. The swimming pool was green & half full and looked like it hasn't been covered or maintained for more that a year. The mini-golf was pretty pathetic & there were 2 ash cans overflowing with trash on the riverside patio. The room did have a comfortable bed, Keurig type coffee maker, mini-fridge with freezer, wifi and A/C. Families with kids would have been extremely disappointed. It was a tolerable motel room for a couple with no kids wanting to spend most of their time in RMNP but there were a lot of better options if you book early.
