We had a 2 bedroom suite with the pond out front and view of the mountains. Lots of elk and geese. The front desk guy was uber friendly and more than helpful. They have a great sitting area by the pond with a gazebo and firepit which was a great place to hang out. Overall, we would stay here again and highly recommend it. Great off season rates.

Had a great one-night stay here. The staff was very accommodating throughout! We checked in super late after informing them beforehand, and they had arranged the keys for us which made the process seamless. We also had to check out very early in the morning, and the drop box system made that extremely convenient as well. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view of the Rocky Mountains from the balcony was beautiful. Overall, a smooth and pleasant stay.

There were 7 of us in our party and we each had the double queen room. Yes, there were mountain views, but only through the back window. The lobby, with couches and a fireplace, where we hoped to gather in the evening, closed at 7:00 pm. It was too cool to use the outdoor firepit. But we got together in a room with no problem. The staff was excellent, very helpful. The breakfast was way better than expected. The best thing about Discovery Lodge is the location, about 2 minutes from downtown. We were all happy with this lodge and would stay there again.

We stayed here when we were on a road trip to see the national park. For the price I was shocked at how great this place was. It’s an older hotel but very clean. The girl at the front desk was very nice. Breakfast the next morning was just fine. I would absolutely stay here again. We were in the off-season and it was absolutely cheap! I don’t know what it would be during the busy season, but I would definitely stay here again.
