From the moment I arrived the staff could not have been more helpful, so welcoming, the whole ambience as you walk into the lobby is just fabulous. An absolute perfect little gem in the heart of Estepona..Makaku restaurant was great .. I cannot highly recommend this Hotel enough. First of all the reception staff and in particular the gentleman who booked us in were excellent. Nothing was too much of a problem for them. Friendly, helpful and extremely courteous. The hotel is beautiful and overlooks the nicest square in Esteponna. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice and served in or outside the hotel. I would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and cannot wait to return.

Fabulous 3 night stay! We were visiting Estepona, to celebrate our mum’s 90th birthday and everyone at The Pilar Hotel, were fantastic. They did everything they could to ensure we were looked after. Rooms are amazing, housekeeping spotless, reception staff very approachable and most of all a wonderful, relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at El Pilar. It is right in the middle of everything = perfect location. It is a stunning property, the rooms are great, and the restaurants on site were all excellemt. We were very happy with our stay overall. We did have problems with the validating of the parking (they did not have any validated passes to give us costing us 5 euros a night) that was not handled well by the staff. But even this could not put a damper on our enthusiasm for this place!
