Location is only a 5 minute walk from the train station in Oberhausen. Room was clean. Bed very comfortable. Very quiet environment. Hot shower was a big plus. We are here for the European Soccer Tournament so it was nice that we were able to watch games in our room.

Nice stay (cool) stay in Oberhausen

Very nice stay here. The best part was the young people working at the front desk and bar -- very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and, importantly, the air-conditioning worked really well. The breakfast was one of the most generous I've seen at a hotel, but was also a bit pricey. The only two downsides are 1) there is no kettle in the room -- I prefer to have my coffee while reading before dressing for breakfast, so this was pretty annoying 2) the carpet in the hallways was FILTHY -- there was obvious dirty and chunks that didn't get vacuumed up the who time I was there in addition to stains that are going to require shampooing to remove. The beautiful blue couches in the lobby are also quite dirty with spills that have not been cleaned off.
