We only stayed for one night but our room was large and very clean as was the bathroom. Shower had plenty of hot water. Easy to find on the main street in Espanola. Check in & check out were very easy. Would definitely stay again.

We had stayed at the Pinewood a few years ago but we’re not impressed. We were pleasantly surprised by all the upgrades made by the new management. The rooms were fresh and clean, the beds were comfortable and the parking free. Would recommend it.

Newly renovated rooms, very clean, but our bathroom was missing a towel rack. Looked like someone ripped it off accidentally. Beds were comfortable, and the restaurant was fabulous with really good food.

The Pinewood is a great place to stay when doing business or coming for pleasure to Espanola. It is centrally located, the rooms have a good size, modern, clean, appropriate.

We liked that the area we stayed in; which was on the ground floor on the backside of the Motel, as it was very clean and newly renovated. Although the parking area in the back was somewhat difficult to manuevre and crowded. The restaurant food within the Motel, was very good.

At first I was disappointed at the rather drab decor in our room. But I soon came to realize that the room was very well appointed -- with a large and comfortable king-sized bed; a fridge and microwave oven; generous coffee/tea making facilities; more than adequate toiletries in the bathroom.... Our room was located at the back of the property and away from any traffic noise. Most important of all, our room and the bathroom were immaculately clean.

Rooms upstairs were newly renovated. Looked great.! Asked about a lower level room as few cars parked in that area as friend has bad arthritis. The price immediately jumped. This is no way to treat customers with disabilities. I just carried her stuff up back stairs instead

The price was reasonable since we only gave 2 weeks notice in the busy season. Beds were comfy and the staff was very helpful. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner, there was a dead bug on the outside of the tub and the sink wouldn't drain. Otherwise the place was clean with nice amenities.

We had an excellent stay at the pinewood before heading out on a camping trip. The hotel has recently been renovated and the rooms were brand new and clean. Comfortable beds, bright clean bathroom. The restaurant in the hotel is also fantastic. Very friendly staff
