We have stayed here before and it was a good option for this trip. On-site restaurant and bar are a plus. They also had 24hr coffee available with continental breakfast featuring granola bars, krispy treats and fresh fruit.

The room was a bit outdated but it was clean and served its purpose for restful nights sleep while traveling through this area. The pictures differed from the one on Expedia but my guess is they are remodeling rooms and we just had a room that was yet have been remodeled/ renovated. Staff were friendly and room was clean.

Our room was clean. The staff was friendly. The dining room was very overpriced. We were just two companions traveling, not business folks that could expense our meals. I suggest having a menu that includes features for senior citizens and/or families. It seemed to be just business folks there, except for two other elderly couples.

Everyone —front desk, housekeeping, and wait staff at Matera were absolutely wonderful! Such great breakfast and dinner food! I stayed for just short of a week to recuperate from surgery and plan to return for a short stay when I have the next surgery. In between I will be back for a breakfast and dinner at Matera. Thanks to all for the wonderful hospitality!

The restaurant in the hotel is fantastic. Hard to find that quality of restaurant in the UP. It was an overnight stopover for me.It's going to be standard overnight stop off point. Hotel staff was great too. Can't say enough good things.
