“We found the staff friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was good and plentiful. The rooms, at least ours, have been modernised but are on the small side; offering little space to relax when not out, dining or sleeping. This is not helped by the lack of comfortable furniture on which to relax in the public area (emphasis on the 'pub'). This is at odds with the description on Expedia, which refers to "Bar and Lounge" unless I missed it during our 4 night stay! The picture of the outside of...

“This was such a great stay. Really cute pub with amazing food and such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone we interacted with was keen to know if we were happy and seemed genuinely pleased when we said we were. The room was very clean and comfortable with lots of little touches which made it extra special. We hope to come back soon!”
