The property is basic as is the room but it was clean and beds comfortable. The staff were very friendly and their restaurant excellent. The chef there is amazing and we didn’t expect a meal like that, highly recommend.

Perle in Ermelo - super Zimmer, sehr gutes Essen

Wir blieben auf der Durchreise vom Kruger NP in die Drakensberge eine Nacht in Ermelo. Das sehr günstige Zimmer war überraschend groß, sehr stylish mit langem Durchgang zum Bad, schwarzen Steintafeln an den Wänden... Aufgrund der tollen Fotos auf der Website haben wir uns gleich zum Abendessen angemeldet. Zunächst wurden wir an das offene Feuer im Garten gebeten, wo wir uns mit dem Besitzer, seiner Frau und einem anderen Gast nett unterhielten. Das Abendessen selbst (Kingklip über dem Feuer gegrillt, dazu selbst angebautes Gemüse aus dem Garten) war absolut ausgezeichnet. Wir können die Lodge nur weiterempfehlen!
