Great location and cabin with 2 full bathrooms, very clean, comfortable cabin and the hot tub and pool were awesome after hiking during day. Staff set up grill with pellets so we could grill fish. Check out the hiking trail right on the property.

The suite was cozy, had generally clean rooms and was well prepped for our stay. However, certain things here and there (eg. Cutting board, oven mitts) weren’t there; eating utensils weren’t very well cleaned; the shower pressure was quite a bit lower than our liking; and a few of the cooking pans were very used and scratched up. Overall a decent enough experience and close enough to the main Mt. Rainier trails to make it worth staying.

Clean room and usable kitchen. Friendly and very helpful staff. However they charge a resort fee despite the resort offering minimal amenities. The only amenities are a pool and a sauna, hardly worth mentioning. Useful for a budget stay in the area but nothing exceptional.

My family (including a 10-year-old) loved this place! It is a remote, rustic and beautiful location with walking trails on the property. The outdoor pool, hot tub and sauna were a favorite with all! This is not a typical hotel with room service and a bar, etc. but this lodging accommodation makes sense in this location and was preferred by our family. The staff is very helpful. Plan ahead if you need food (as nearest grocery store is maybe 30 minutes away). Restaurants are limited but we all enjoyed the Snorting Elk nearby. This was also a good location for visiting Mount Rainier, which was our reason for coming to the area. Our entire family wants to come back to stay at this lodge again!

The property is set back off the road so its nice and quiet. It's only 10min from Crystal mountain. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was great and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Nice place. Only issue was the person or persons above us were noisy. Not sure what they were doing or moving around. First time it was about a half hour around 8 pm but the worst was at 4 am Lots of noise, moving around, banging. I hit the ceiling twice and they stopped.

Alta Crystal Lodge was definitely a fun stay. My main complaints were that the loft bathroom shower was quite moldy, the bed linens had holes in them, and the freezer could really use a defrosting. Another thing I would change is making the pool available earlier than 10:00 a.m., although I understand that may be due to maintenance requirements. The location is fantastic and hard to beat. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the shower and bathroom were definitely not as clean as they should have been. Despite those issues, we had a good time.

The word “resort” is incredibly misleading, as are the pictures online. This is a run down motel. My room was disgusting and I almost cried when I saw it. I paid 900$ for 2 nights which is an ABSOLUTE SCAM. It was worth 200$ a night at best. There were spiders in our room, cobwebs everywhere, dirty floors and the hardest pillows (I had to use my sweatshirt as a pillow). The pool and hot tub were gross. There was a giant hairball in my bedroom. You couldn’t pay me to stay here again. I will be disputing these charges and sharing my opinion and pictures of this place everywhere I can. DONT STAY HERE. Trust the other bad reviews

Things I loved: Beautiful and cozy queen loft with 2 bathrooms and beds for upto 5 people. A glass roof in the lounge to watch the sky from the comfort of your suite. Your own personal kitchen. Cute little fireplace in the suite. Ample storage space. Personal balcony. Lots of towels, sheets and pillows. Bathrooms and kitchen fully stocked. Kitchen even had coffee and tea bags. Fresh water in faucets. Ample parking space. Sauna, pool and hot tub. Front desk staff is very helpful. BBQ grill near pool. Tables with bonfire tops near pool. Front desk has free coffee. Free s’more kits in suite and you can get extra for free at front desk. Extra firewood for fire place available too. Trails available on property. Disliked: There was weird odour in the suite. Dishwasher was not clean. The downstairs bathroom flush doesn’t work sometimes. BBQ grill wasn’t clean. Pool wasn’t clean either.

This lodge was even better than expected. It was everything you wanted to be when you’re on an outdoor adventure trip especially near the national park and it was not far from everything we wanted to get to and the experience was just great. The staff went above and beyond for me and my elderly mother and I appreciate them so much. They helped me to get an appropriate room to help her mobility and I was not even asking for that and I appreciate all their help. We will definitely be staying here every time we come in this area and we’ll be bringing our family back as well. One of the best days I’ve had in a long time with beautiful views and just an overall great experience. .
