Also, if not from Europe cells phones and internet don't work well so not being able to contact proprietors can be a problem. “This cellar apartment is a very cool place to stay. Our hosts were very welcoming and provided helpful information regarding the area and getting around. Very nicely renovated with a well equipped kitchen, the apartment suited our needs perfectly. The bathroom was large with a great shower. It was very comfortable and quiet which made for an excellent night's sleep.”

“It's not a bad place. But filthy carpets were the main disappointment & filthy smoke butts outside the main door up stairs. Was there for 3 days, not once did I see anybody do any cleaning or replenish towels or tea & coffee. That's why it wasn't value for money. The owner should put more effort into the place, instead of just taking the money.”

“The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. “I had an amazing stay, the owner Nick was very responsive and very pleasant, despite booking last minute. There was a clear guide of instructions of places to go. There was tea, coffee, a socket near the bed, organic milk. When I am back in Bristol, I would definitely rebook, if there is availability. Thank you !!”

“Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! ”
