Vacations Close To Encuentro Beach

Is there anything below a zero? First, the “resort” is hard to get to because GPS address is wrong. We waited 40 minutes to be let into our room though we got there way before check in. The bars ran out of cups midday, they were giving drinks in paper cups which disintegrated in minutes. The room was not cleaned. Don’t get me started on the food, it was mediocre. The only silver lining is the most workers were very helpful and cheerful.

Tiene una vista espectacular, la comida es buena, el personal es muy servicial y realizan una labor espectacular. Sin embargo, los propietarios están descuidando la estructura. Tuvimos que evaluar cuatro habitaciones porque los aires acondicionados son viejos y no enfriaban, las toallas lucen viejas y en malas condiciones al igual que las sábanas. Mis padres estaban en una habitación en la que el tv no tenía Internet ni cable tv sólo canales locales, en el teatro los artistas presentaron buenos Shows pero, no pudimos terminar de verlos porque el calor era insoportable, los aires acondicionados no funcionaron. La cadena Whyndhan está dejando caer un lugar maravilloso por no invertir en mejoras.

We had such an amazing stay at Sosúa by the Sea! If you’re looking for a peaceful, family-friendly hotel where you can truly relax, this is the place. The ocean views are absolutely breathtaking, and the atmosphere is so calm. I personally loved that there wasn’t a loud club on the property—it made it easy to unwind and enjoy quality time with my family. I want to give a huge thank you to Randy at the bar. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always made sure we had everything we needed. His customer service really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. Another special thank you to Juan, who went above and beyond by decorating both of our rooms with balloons—one for my son’s birthday and one for my fiancé’s birthday. It was such a thoughtful surprise that made both celebrations feel extra special. The restaurant staff also deserves recognition. They surprised us with a personalized birthday cake, and both the staff and fellow guests sang Happy Birthday. It was such a heartfelt moment that we’ll never forget. The kindness and effort everyone put into making our family feel celebrated meant so much to us. From the beautiful scenery to the outstanding hospitality, our experience exceeded our expectations. We made wonderful memories here and will definitely be back. Thank you to everyone at Sosúa by the Sea for making our trip so special! ❤️
