My stay at The Lamb was most successful. One is aware of the history of the hotel, and the atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. The room was clean and very comfortable. And the proximity of the cathedral was wonderful

Very clean and comfortable . Noisy metal plate on road outside clinked every time a car went over it but not a lot the hotel can do about that. Staff very pleasant right from check in to evening meal. Great location for shops and cathedral

Stayed the night as we went to a concert at Ely Cathedral, I have just had a major operation and when we got back to the hotel my leg had swollen badly. I asked if they could supply me with some ice wrapped in a towel to cool my knee, within seconds I received a large bag of ice wrapped in a towel for me to take to our room so I could this on my wound. So impressed, no bother what so ever. Our evening meal was lovely, cooked to perfection, bed was comfortable too.
