A once distinctive property with many lovely traditional Portuguese features Rooms were large and clean However the building and grounds require maintenance and upgrading and basic TLC This could be a stunning hotel It probably once was but is stuck in a time warp Staff we’re polite and helpful Breakfast was bad

Le meilleur d’une autre époque

Une auberge d’une autre époque avec une superbe architecture et déco. Le personnel est extrêmement chaleureux et accueillant. Petit déjeuner copieux. Simplement faire attention si vous réservez une chambre pour trois personnes, le lit supplémentaire ne conviendrait que pour un jeune enfant, très inconfortable pour un adulte.

Still retains the charm of a Pousada

This was our second stay at this Hotel, our previous being some years ago when it was a Pousada. Thankfully it has still retained its charm and we were not disappointed. Perfectly placed for a walk into the town, and an added bonus to have a small balcony we could sit on in the evening....... definitely recommend it!

Superfint hotell med en fantastisk service, fint mottagande där man verkligen känner att man är välkommen. Smidigt med parkering utanför ingången. Elvas dessutom en väldigt trevlig stad.

Hemos estado MUY AGUSTO. El trato, la limpieza y la ubicación perfectos. Es coqueto, familiar y muy agradable. Han trabajado mucho el tema Covid. En España sería un 3*. El trato y el esfuerzo les dan otra estrella. It is a very nice hotel to stay, small and familiar. Fantastic. On the other hand, they have worked hard on covid issues, everthing is super-clean, food is perfectly isolated. We usually stop in Elvas or Badajoz when we go on holiday to the south of Spain or Portugal. I guess it will be our stop in next journeys.

Parada en Santa Luzia de camino hacia Insua.

Bien. Fue pousada, pero se nota q ya no lo es, está un poco abandonado, sobre todo la piscina y su zona. La cama supletoria no te s la al, la s un mal catre. Lo mejor el desayuno.

Hele plezieruge poussada met warme ontvangst. Niet grote maar leuke typisch Portugese stijl ingerichte kamer. Aan alles is gedacht, zelfs aan een weegschaal. Heerlijk zwembad en gunstig gelegen zeer dichtbij Elvas.
