Place was clean and family friendly. The pool was great and it stayed open until 11pm. However I wasn’t impressed with their breakfast selections. I will also add the lack of clean drinking water, and not being able to find ice machines for ice buckets.

Good location if you're going to the Gorge. Safe. The carpet in the room was torn with the pad exposed and stained. Very thin walls, could hear many noises from other rooms. If carpet had been replaced, would have given more stars.

The Bedding - Sheets, Pillows, blankets were crisp and clean. The Staff were friendly & helpful. BUT the Resort is Run-down and in need of some URGENT TLC. Both the Pool & Gym were CLOSED with No Access. The Bathrooms in the Rooms desperately need some renovating. However, the water pressure in the shower was Excellent, and you could tell the Staff had cleaned it, as best as they could.

This Red Lion is very ran down, the shower was terrible and coming apart, the chair was missing an arm, stains on the couch, toilet barely flushed, towels were ripped and had holes in them, had to get the room card rescanned multiple times, I wasn't even going to attempt breakfast. But the staff was very nice and brought more towels to our room. He was very helpful every time. I now see why this is the cheapest place in town.

The staff was very nice and friendly. Rooms were outdated and needing repair or maintenance. Walls were chipping or carpet was stained. Bedding was very clean. We didn’t use it but the fitness center was closed still as other reviews stated. Their breakfast was basic fruit, cereal, and oatmeal packets but we ended up eating outside anyway.

Room was clean. Staff friendly. The lobby and breakfast area was not as clean as it could be. Breakfast minimal. Cold cereal, boiled eggs, waffle mix empty and yogurt and toast. Area was not clean. No coffee in room amd towels had holes.

Room was clean and staff were friendly. Hotel is a little old and dated. When we went the pool and gym were closed, which disappointed our kids. Breakfast was a simple continental with waffles as the warm option. All in all I would say 3/5 for a 3 star hotel it is rated as and 4/5 if it were a 2 star hotel.

This is a fairly old property that has been maintained adequately. The lobby and common areas and hallways were fairly dated and rundown, but I found the room to be very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was standard issue; nothing spectacular, but certainly clean. The staff was incredibly responsive, friendly and knowledgeable and in the end, I was just grateful to obtain a room during what was a very busy weekend due to a concert nearby.

Stayed here for a concert @ the gorge. When we arrived there was a sign on the door stating no early check in, which we understood, being that it was fully booked the night before. What was not great is that when check in time came around there was no order for checking in. Ourselves & a bunch of others were waiting in the lobby waiting for an announcement that it was time to check in. No announcement came & a few people who had just walked in were checked in. It would have worked better had the front desk people had a sign in sheet & when it came time to check in they called us up in order, IMO. The room itself was fine, bed was pretty comfortable, everything was clean. We would probably not choose to stay @ this hotel when coming over for a concert, but maybe for other trips. Price was affordable.

While the room was clean and king sized bed comfortable, the bathroom was very small and cramped, with no exhaust fan, which left it hot and humid. We missed the complimentary breakfast due to a misunderstanding about the cut-off time. We only needed basic accommodations for an overnight stay in Ellensburg, so it met those qualifications. It just felt tired, and a bit run down - like it had seen better days. For those seeking more upscale accommodations and amenities, look elsewhere.

Online photos do not show the actual condition of this property. In real time, the hotel is in desperate need of upgrades- deep cleaning, painting, better breakfast options, and having a pool that is actually open. My room smelled of cigarette smoke, but the sheets and bed were okay. The staff were relatively friendly depending on who you were engaging. Parking was okay if you arrived earlier than check in. I have no plans to return given how overpriced the experience was.

We had a later check in and the person at the front desk was not helpful. They did not provide a receipt, share the check out time, or any other information. The room was fine and did its job for the short night we were there, although the bathroom seemed to have not been cleaned thoroughly. The shower had personal toiletries and used washcloths on the side of the tub.
