Nice room, clean and very accessible to the Main Street. Good view of the waterfall and mountain from our deck but the decks were not private at all!! Easy place to stay!

Ella is all hills - so it’s a 6 minute steep walk to Onrock or 1 minute drive but that’s better than almost every other place. It’s upscale for Ella though short of 4 star luxury. Breakfast excellent. It’s fun and convenient and the 2 of us from USA strongly recommend.

We had an excellent stay in that property (3nights March 2025) It located on the hill so the views from the balcony are spectacular. Still just a few steps from the center of town. Very good breakfast with lots of options. Exceptional stuff, especially the manager who was very informative, helpful and kind. The only down was the bathroom which I'd say needed some renovations and the noise coming from the construction going on at the front of the hotel but I understand at some point they have to do it. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The view from our room was absolutely amazing and the bedroom was very comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand not the best, quite dark and the shower had quite a bit of black mould stains and needed a deep clean. Steep walk to get down to Ella and back to the hotel again. Would most likely return for the views from the room

Great view. Clean and comfortable.

Great view of Little Adam’s Peak and Ella’s Rock (and a waterfall). Pretty comfortable bed. Convenient furniture in the room. Unexpectedly good breakfast. Good service and very nice personel.

Old and tired hotel, minimal breakfast options and hot food was all barely lukewarm. We had no hot water, shower wasn’t even lukewarm it was cold which was an issue that we reported immediately to staff who checked and said that was as good as it gets! Staff were all very pleasant, polite and friendly.

We booked a room with garden view and we got one with a horrible view on the back (the front has view on the mountains) where there is no garden whatsoever but the skeleton of a broken building. I cannot believe they sell these rooms at such price with such an ugly view.

This hotel is Absolutely Amazing! The staffs are incredible people, helpful, friendly, kind. One of the best services that we had. Great room with stunning view; breakfast delicious. Also, delicious dinner. We really had a great time there, and super recommend!

Our stay at Onrock Hotel was very pleasant. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Nice little hotel with amazing views. Would recommend staying here for the best views of the mountains and the best service from hotel staff.

I’m sorry to say we didn’t enjoy our stay here. To start with the good the staff were helpful and friendly. To the bad, the bed and pillows were awful and very uncomfortable. The fittings in the room were poor. The hotel is noisy and has building work all around. We had the worst nights sleep at this hotel and left feeling shattered.

A beautiful hotel with amazing views and rooms, staff are very helpful and welcoming, had an amazing time here would highly recommend The hill up to the property is very steep and long but you can get a tuk tuk up for a very small price and walking down is fine

Great location in Ella with beautiful views of Little Adam’s Peak, Ella Rock, and the waterfalls. Easy walk down a steep hill to town. With luggage use a tuk-tuk to get to the hotel. Nice stay in Ella.
