Very plain, minimal hotel. Good for a simple overnight. Clean, everything functioned. Just note, only given one set of washcloth & towel person for overnight stay. Charge for more. Otherwise no issues.

When I called to ask about the Deluxe Inn in Elkton, MD I was asked if I was a smoker, I replied no, then was quoted a rate but warned that there would be an extra surcharge if I smoked in the room. Once again, after checking in, I was asked if I smoked. This may seem a bit excessive, but I'm glad they asked. This is not a luxurious place to stay, its on the older side but very well maintained and clean. I got a chance to speak to the handyman for the facility. He too is very on point and concerned about any problems I might have encountered. The people who manage this location are doing a great job with the facility they have. Quiet , clean and well maintained, I don't really need anything more in a place to stay. My stay was in May 2026.

They charged me additional $20 in cash for no apparent reason. We went in the room there were stained towels and hair all over them. We ended up driving home overnight!!

The room was very clean. I actually brought Lysol and spray and wipes reading some of the reviews. I used a wipe and the cloth was clean. My advise is to bring soap and shampoo with you as they don't supply that and bring your own pillows as the ones they have are uncomfortable. Other than that a great experience. There is a Sheetz across the street and a Chick Fil A and Walmart just down the road.

The price was right & it had a 10 point rating. Unfortunately, it did not live up to that. The place looked good as we arrived & the woman who checked me in was very nice. The room was another story. The room itself was not the cleanest. The floors were gritty & sticky. Not having hot water in the bathroom sink didn't help matters either. Mattress wasn't comfortable. Woke up with a back ache. I don't usually leave negative reviews but have to be honest. And to all who care, the amenities do not include a coffee maker. The ad did say mini frig & microwave which it did have. I had hoped I just missed seeing a coffee maker in the pics. Lastly, the deadbolt lock didn't work on the main door.
