Elizabethton's historic downtown has a number of nice, local shops and restaurants to enjoy. The riverfront park has free live music on summer Saturday evenings. It's a great base for exploring the beautiful natural areas and historic small towns.

I was there for my father’s wake and funeral. It was a very nice place and I would come back again.

Our daughter and family live there and we visit twice a year. This was the first time we had stayed at the Americourt Hotel and probably is the last. We normally stay at the Red Roof Inn in Johnson City, but it was full.
