In every area, our stay exceeded our expectations. Definitely get the romantic dinner for two: most exquisite meal we've ever had. Each course was phenomenal. Spa facilities were world class with fantastic view of Alps. Skip the outdoor pool; it was freezing cold. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. After working 20 years in surgery, I have very high standards for cleanliness: A here. Highly recommend.

Wir waren mit unserem siebenjährigen Kind in diesem Hotel und sind sehr enttäuscht. Ein wesentlicher Grund für unsere Buchung waren der Pool- und Wellnessbereich. Vor Ort mussten wir jedoch erfahren, dass das Indoor Pool und Sauna erst ab 16 Jahren zugänglich ist. Diese wichtige Information wurde uns vorab nicht kommuniziert. Gerade bei einer Reise mit Kind ist das ein entscheidendes Kriterium. Hätten wir das vorher gewusst, hätten wir dieses Hotel definitiv nicht gebucht. Für uns war das besonders ärgerlich, weil unser Kind sich auf den Pool und die Sauna sehr gefreut hatte und wir diesen Bereich dann praktisch nicht nutzen konnten. Aus unserer Sicht ist die Darstellung des Hotels irreführend: Pool und Wellness werden prominent beworben, die Altersbeschränkung ist aber nicht ausreichend ersichtlich. Für Familien mit Kindern ist das Hotel daher absolut ungeeignet. Wir werden dieses Hotel nicht wieder buchen und können es Familien nicht empfehlen.

Wir waren eine Woche im Elixhauser Wirt. Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht mit tollem Bergblick, großer Badewanne und Balkon. Das Zimmer war wie alles andere sauber und in gutem Zustand. Der wellness Bereich war toll mit 2 Saunen und 2 Dampfbädern, auch eine Liege war immer einfach zu finden. Der Pool Bereich war ebenfalls schön und bietet auch genug Platz. Wir hatten uns sehr auf das Frühstück gefreut, welches für 36€ auch hohe Erwartungen bei uns weckte. Leier wurden wir sehr enttäuscht. Im Großen und Ganzen ist alles da von weisswürsten, Lachs und selbstgemachte Marmeladen. Leider war der Kaffee ungenießbar, die Croissants waren trocken genauso wie die Brötchen. Auch hätte ich mir eine lokale Käseauswahl gewünscht, Nussmuss wäre schön gewesen und ein wenig Abwechslung. Allgemein gut, aber etwas moderner und qualitativ hochwertiger wäre schön gewesen. Auch die Pflegeprodukte auf dem Zimmer und Wellness rochen sehr billig und entsprachen nicht meinen Erwartungen für ein 4* Sterne Hotel. Abschliessend: tolles Hotel mit etwas Luft nach oben.

Schönes Haus für Frühaufsteher :)

Schönes Hotel, sanft modernisiert, nettes Personal, Essen und Frühstück hervorragend. Minus: Pool bei schlechtem Wetter sehr klein (es gab vor allem den ganzen Samstag Nachmittag keine freie Liegen weil dort dauerhaft Handtücher abwesender Gäste lagen) und man muss wissen, dass ab 6 Uhr früh die Kichenglocken läuten. Also bei der Zimmerwahl ggf nach ruhigem Zimmer fragen, wir konnten leider nicht ausschlafen dort… dafür kann das Hotel nichts, aber es hat unseren Aufenthalt etwas getrübt.

Ein Satz mit X...

Ich vermute das Haus und der Service dürften unter anderen Umständen durchaus besser sein. Es gab keinen Ansprechpartner und es war auch Niemand zu erreichen. An der Rezeption lag ein Zettel mit der Zimmerkarte. Do it yourself. Das Zimmer war eiskalt - Heizung war bei der Anreise abgeschaltet. Restaurant war geschlossen und in der Mini Bar herrschte gähnende Leere. Zwei kleine Flaschen Wasser waren vorhanden. Ich konnte auch sonst nichts nutzen im Hotel. Bei rund € 200.- für die Nacht blieb das 4 Stern Superior irgendwo am Straßenrand liegen. Ich habe meine Anliegen deponiert, aber keine Reaktion erhalten. Es wäre besser gewesen das Hotel komplett zu schließen. Es hat nicht funktioniert es ein bisschen offen zu lassen. Sehr enttäuschend, leider.
