This place was everything and more. The cabanas are beautiful the propery also. The staff is very helpful with everyting you need even organizing tuks to and from for you. Only thing i actually missed was a iron for clothes but thats it. We had a blast and were there with our 8yo who loved the kayaks and sleeping in the net area on the 3rd floor

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. Everyone was so kind and helpful, even carrying our luggage to our villa. We had such an amazing stay at Ibuku Hotel. The location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by nature with breathtaking views. Our house was beautiful, comfortable, jacuzzi and had a gorgeous view that made it even more special. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. We also really enjoyed the food: both breakfast and dinner were delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing stay. We truly loved it and hope to come back again one day.

The rooms are exactly what you see in the pictures online. The view was one of the most spectacular parts. The value for your money is also exceptional. I really enjoyed my stay at Ibuku, the staff was very helpful with everything.

This property has an amazing view, the service was great. Be ready for cold weather if you arent visiting during summer. Visit Guatape for better prices on water activities. Morning included breakfast was the cherry on top.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Ibuku. The place is a dream and the views are so beautiful it’s almost unreal. Customer service was top notch, we traveled with my mom and did not realize there were a lot of steps, they moved us to a different cabin without hesitation to make her stay more comfortable, also brought breakfast to the cabin. The surroundings are full of nature, my daughter was in love with their dogs 🌺.

The views are stunning, but a few details could be improved, especially for what seems to be a luxury stay. Some parts of the room felt a bit worn. The curtains were falling apart, and the kitchen light bulb hung so low that I kept hitting my head on it. The staff could also be a bit more welcoming, and the breakfast left room for improvement, as the bread was hard on both mornings. The room service meals were tasty, although quite expensive, like most things at the hotel, but I can understand why. On a positive note, the spa was fantastic, and it was a nice touch that the staff offered to warm it up before we arrived. We also really enjoyed that the kayak was available free of charge. It was a great experience and we had a lot of fun using it. Parking was somewhat challenging due to the limited space and the rough condition of the road. There is also a very sharp turn when leaving the property that forces you to reverse before continuing, which makes maneuvering a bit tricky. Overall, we had a great time and I would come back.

Our stay at Hotel Westad was amazing overall. We stayed in a cabin over the water, and the views were absolutely beautiful — such a unique and relaxing experience. Breakfast was excellent and very well done, and the staff was truly outstanding: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. That said, there were a couple of downsides during our stay. Unfortunately, we noticed a dog drinking and licking water from the jacuzzi, which made us uncomfortable and prevented us from using it, as it didn’t feel sanitary. Additionally, there was a party happening nearby that lasted all night until around 5 or 6 in the morning. The cabins are not soundproof, so it felt like the party was happening right in our room, and we were unable to get any sleep. Despite these issues, the property itself is beautiful and well maintained, and the staff really does an excellent job. These concerns did not take away from how great the location and accommodations are, but they were part of our experience and worth mentioning.

I stay one night and 2 days i regret not staying longer it was paradise. I reconnected with nature, the cabins were amazing with their private jacuzzi. The hotel looks like one in Bali. The employees were super friendly. The beds extremely comfortable the view spectacular. 15 minutes away from the Guatape town but easy access. The food was delicious. I would definitely stay there again. I highly recommend IBUKU HOTEL

The area of Guatape is currently experiencing a drought (“sequia”) which is no fault to the hotels and hoprfully this is temporary and gets sorted soon! The property is one of a kind and a great experience. It could easily fit 6 people and the hot tub was not a cheap one and really nice! Was so peaceful i almost fell asleep in it. The staff were also awesome and made me very welcome. The check in was very relaxed. However, there were definitely things that the property could do to fix my experience. The doors were just completely broken, where the handles on both doors came off the doors. Plus the free breakfast was limited to only a small and basic one (not like advertised). Smallest amount of cheese and fruit I have had during my trip in Colombia. I was also woken up by loud banging and the cockerels going off at 5am. It was these things that really prevented this from being a luxury stay and hopefully the hotel can sort these out.

After careful research, I chose cabin #5 which portrayed photos to be over the water. What I received was a handicap accessible cabin at the very top - on the same level as the parking with zero privacy. The view was partially obscured with trees and far from the water, unlike the other cabins below. I was extremely disappointed as this listing was not accurately portrayed. The service was interesting to say the least. We were told that there was no more drinking water to purchase (Absurd for a hotel). The next morning, I asked the host if breakfast was included, and he responded “do you not remember what I told you yesterday?” …Quite funny to hear on my vacation. Upon departure, I was confronted by the same host asking me if the stains on the towels were from our make up… Absolutely not! The towels were previously stained with what looked like rust/dirty water. It felt as though they were looking for something to try and pin on me. The experience was unpleasant and I felt somewhat antagonized. On a more positive note; the cabin ended up being a lot of fun. The view from the third and second floor were beautiful and the amenities were lovely. The kayaking was a huge plus! (Even though the host asked if we left the kayaks in the water?? Implying I lack enough brain cells to just let the kayaks float away) it was just a weird energy overall but we made the best of it. Make sure to bring your own water unless you don’t mind drinking sink water!
