One of the best places to stay amazing staff, amazing food and service the views were amazing. We ate everyday in the restaurant and it was amazing. Good quality of food and service.
After staying here, I regretted my choice every day. Coming back to the hotel each night was depressing. For just a little more money, I could’ve stayed at a nicer, trendier hotel nearby.
On the bright side, the staff were excellent, and the breakfast area was perfect!
The bathroom and shower were average, matching the price paid, but the lighting was way too dim.
Upon booking an ocean view room, the condescending receptionist told us that the cafe has an ocean view and our room shouldn’t have one. We were given beds with no support to prevent a fall from 2 meters up. When bringing this up, we were rudely dismissed and told an alternative room would cost more. The room constantly smelt of sewer/damp and we woke up the first morning to a frog in the room. We also had issues with the wifi as the password was incorrect on their sheets and they were strangely unwilling to give us the correct password. Positives are the view was amazing, especially at sunset, and they have a frequent shuttle bus to take you up the hill for free and it is in a good location for the zipline and las cabanas beach. Overall poor value for money

The pool. Was not useable during my stay which I was greatly disappointed about and also the air conditioner in our did not work very well at all
There was a spiral staircase for different floors, no elevator. That could be difficult for some people to use, especially since there is only a simple bar for holding it to go up and down, someone could easily slip and get hurt. In addition, the sink faucet handle was broken, and there were also problems with the shower head. The shower head problem was resolved after reporting it, and we asked them to fix the faucet handle problem after we were no longer there. In addition, the electrical power was shut off for everyone because of a power line falling down. Everyone was evacuated, and a backup generator was used.
We arrived in the night, luckily a transfer was waiting for us as absolutely no way could anyone with luggage climb up the steep steep incline to the hostel. We just wanted to wash and sleep, but no water! The water in the hostel must get turned off after a certain time. No shower, luckily we had a bottle of water otherwise we wouldn't have been able to brush our teeth. A loud box AC system mounted onto the wall. Windows didn't open with lots of condensation. We woke to the bum-gun spraying everywhere as the water must have turned on during the morning, is this even legal to not provide water in a room? We were given a FLEECY blanket which was too small to cover the both of us. The bedding sheets appeared clean and mattress was decent. Overall dingy feeling and for £60 a night I wasn't impressed. Breakfast was not good, no drinks available, only one tray of eggs (the others was curry, rice, noodles which I cant do first thing) Only one day did I see 2 loaves cut up with small pot of jam beside. The pool was a green stagnant swamp and the other was (also) dirty and out of use. The staff were friendly but their English skills were not good enough to have a basic conversation (apart from whoever was on reception). The staff would always be just hanging around on their phones not doing much when we could see so much needed doing! Absolutely stunning veiws though, just felt s though it had been built and left, very poor management. Also you need signal to be picked up.
Hôtel avec une vue incroyable, vue sur l’océan. Le personnel serviable qui propose une navette gratuite pour descendre ou monter la colline.
Vanilla Beach, plage très belle et agréable.
