“However, the meals at the hotel were outrageously expensive, almost double what they were worth. I had ordered for breakfast ham and eggs for $6.00. the eggs were okay but the ham was of a cheap quality. bread was good. the beach behind us was very muddy so did not go in. as for the staff, they were all nice except the german fellow who served us. he had a poor attitude as if to say, take it or leave it. he wanted to charge me .50 cents for jam which, normally is included in the breakfast....

“Catalina's Hideaway is a beautiful place only 10 minutes drive from Santa Catalina. The salt water pool is right next to the restaurant, so you can enjoy a nice cocktail or meal and jump straight back in. The food is slightly more expensive than the local restaurants but it never disappointed, it was both generous and delicious. “The system to get in the cabin is pretty clever, and the place looked nice. Yet, I would have appreciated instructions on where to leave the money and also if the grass around the cabin was lower or cut. ”
