I walked there from the bus station at night. Just followed my Google maps directions and got there just fine, but took 15 minutes. Staff was incredible, place was super cute and clean and even had a welcome drink. They arranged a glacier tour for me for the following morning, and that went great. The breakfast was a big spread with lots of buffet options and the views were great. Amazing place for the price. Highly recommended.

Our stay at the Tierra Tehuelche hotel was simply excellent. The hotel's location and, most of all, the excellent service provided by the entire staff made our trip a fantastic experience.. we loved our room and also the view to the Lago Argentino! We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to the argentine Patagonia.

The clerk was very nice and helpful. Made us a very late reservation for dinner upon arrival at a very tastyThe hotel was spotless and charming. Apartment style room had everything needed for our short stay in El Calafate. Restaurant on site if needed. Grocery or downtown area only about a 15min walk. Lunch boxes are available if needed for an excursion or you could buy them from the travel agencies. We enjoyed our stay

A bit of a mixed bag. The positives are it's a very quiet location, the staff are friendly and helpful,I had a couple of technical issues with the room and the engineer came to fix them within minutes, and the room was clean and comfortable. I also booked the apartment which was very spacious and with a good kitchenette. The negatives are their photo showed a sofa but I didn't have one, just a stored away bed. This meant I only had chairs to rest on, or lay on the bed. It's a ground floor appt but instead of a net curtain there is just a roller blind so you either have semi darkness and privacy, or daylight and no privacy while the water in the shower kept changing temperature on its own. The WiFi was also weak. The property is in a new area being built and It's about a 15 min walk into town. That said it did have it's own bar and restaurant and you receive a free drinks voucher when checking in Overall it was ok, but I wouldn't go back

Good hotel a bit far away from the center of town but fairly quiet which is nice. Comfortable beds and small kitchen in our room. Only complaint is that it was quite warm in December and there wasn’t a lot of airflow with windows open

I was there with a car, so location was good. View is nice, but would be great if they clean the trash from the meadown right in front of the window. Kitchen had all I needed. Shower hot/cold adjustment is a bit tricky.

The staff was very helpful and responded quickly. You can chat via WhatsApp with the front desk. The time we were there it was unusually warm so the room was very hot and the room does not have fan or AC. The hot water took a while but otherwise the place was clean. The place is about 20 min walk to the downtown area, bit far away than the hotels on the Main Street but area was very quiet and safe. Uber access isn’t easy so I would consider if you don’t mind walking a little bit.

Needs a few upgrades. The bed sheets are poor quality. Our living room area didn’t have a sofa it was more like a single mattress with pillows & made it hard to sit on, there is art work on that wall so you can’t really sit on the sofa, maybe the other rooms it was different. The kitchen tap was very loose, the drawers were not lining up so each time you open you had to adjust. It just felt like there was a lot of ware & tare on this apartment. Maybe the main building is better. The property has bright lighting on at night, too much lighting even with the curtain closed you could see light. The cleaning staff start at 8am, so you could hear them above moving furniture. Maybe they can start later. The view was lovely
