Beautiful hotel and room! Dinner and breakfast were both enjoyable and the staff were very attentive and looked after us well. 10/10 - would definitely stay again
The Sun Inn was all that we could have hoped for. Nice, comfortable rooms, friendly and accommodating staff and a wonderful breakfast (free). It had a cozy feel to it and we were sad to leave. It was definitely a five star for us.
Rooms so clean and staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Will definitely recommend this place to stay. It is a beautiful Inn and b and b
The hotel was in a state of disrepair and need of renovation. The pictures you find on the internet must be old and don't tell the true story. The staff is is nice and friendly, though.
Our room was clean and comfortable - very charming. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Loved the quaint atmosphere - the meals in the gastropub were very tasty. The only concern we had is that the bed was a little too hard for us and the pillows too soft - but features like that are very subjective so that might not be a problem for you! The Inn is situated on a main road so can get very busy at times. Our room did overlook the road but once the window was closed and blinds drawn it was quieter. Again, didn’t bother us but something to keep in mind if you need peace & quiet. All in all a lovely place to spend a few nights and/or a lovely meal
Clean presentable and nice welcoming staff. For info, nearest station is Eskbank and whilst route planners say 20 minutes walk that is via a public footpath that is unlit, the "long way" is nearer 40 minutes, any which way the station has a large car park.
The staff were amazing, great little Inn, it is a little out of the way, around 20 minutes from the city centre, however we were prepared for this as we had a hire car. Cute little rooms, has everything you need. We would certainly stay here again! Thanks team!
Lovely stay and staff in restaurants were so inviting and friendly . The room was quiet and comfortable bed and nice character . Would stay again if had the opportunity. Thanks
