It’s a bit far from the old town, but it’s such a beautiful place that it’s totally worth it. The breakfast is fantastic, and you can even enjoy a whiskey tasting with one of their specialists. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Beautiful hotel on university grounds a stone throw away from the Royal Mile with great bus connections. Staff were really polite and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived to when we left. Our room was spacious but cozy, with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend.

My room was absolutely lovely! It had a little sitting nook that looked out at Arthur’s Seat. The staff was very friendly and super helpful! The location is right by public transport. My room was ready when I arrived quite early! My only complaint was that they’d run out of venison at the restaurant, and only part of the bathroom floor is heated. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. I highly recommend it!

The Scott is a beautiful hotel with an exceptional staff. My daughter and I stayed in the hotel for a week, and we loved every minute of it.
