Lovely stay in a beautiful spot. The room was immaculate, very comfy bed ands pillows with the fancy coffee machine a bonus. So quiet, could hear nobody else during the night. Breakfast was delicious and a generous portion and all the staff I spoke to very friendly and helpful. Hope to stay again

Stunning

This has been my favourite find so far. The location is stunning, environment relaxing, the staff are fantastic. I have enjoyed many return visits to dine in the lovely restaurant and to stay. The children feel this is like a home from home and treat some of the staff like family.

Pleasant stay. We were wary about staying at a golf course hotel (not being golfers) but we had a lovely stay. Friendly staff, close to E Lothian towns, lovely evening meal, easy parking. A good alternative to over priced Edinburgh hotels.

Cannot fault, would totally recommend

Cannot fault this hotel. From check in to check out all of the staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was relaxing with amazing views over the golf course and the sea beyond. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable, slept like a log. The food in the restaurant was good value, cooked fresh and was well presented - delicious.

We had a one night stay at Craigielaw. Thouroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious well equiped and spotless. We only had one breakfast, so cant comment on the dinner service, but we were very satisfied and would have no hesitation in recommending Craigielaw.

Spectacular

We enjoyed a fabulous stay. Thank you to all the staff. The children said they had the best night's sleep ever and enjoyed the best dinner ever. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The views are breathtaking and the relaxed environment left us feeling immediately at home. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you all once again.

Perfect for a quiet weekend away

Beautiful hotel in lovely surroundings. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Booked to stay one night as we were attending an even locally but wish we had stayed the whole weekend. The hotel is modern, clean and spacious. The rooms are well fitted out with thoughtful attention to detail. The food in the restaurant was great quality with good portion sizes and very tasty. I’d love to see an alternative to plastic single use milk portions and toiletries.

The owners must have spent a lot of money on this premises, decor was excellent, service was excellent. Great staff and nothing was to difficult for them. Very thankful for staff acknowledging the late check in and showing around. Explained clearly all aspects and Breakfast was lovely. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Attending wedding in area and chose to stay here for few nights. We’ve had a first class stay. Room was spacious fresh and clean. Staff went above and beyond. Both nights had dinner and again complements to the chef. Would definitely return.
