The room was a really good size and spotless clean. Like the little touches like bottled water in the rooms and choices of tea, coffee and hit chocolate. Staff really friendly and nothing was an issue to them. Breakfast was suberb, with good choice and cooked to order rather than buffet

Nice room. Good size, bright and recently decorated. Good breakfast. Great location in lovely seaside town with lots of restaurant and cafe choices and shops. A little noisy at night with single glazing onto street and deliveries to shop opposite (although it was a Friday night). Could do with a couple of shelves in closet or a bench or wall hooks to put clothes etc. on.

This was a stop over on the way to a holiday further north in Scotland. The bed was comfortable and the staff friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are a little tired but perfectly functional. One of our rooms was to the front of the hotel opposite the local supermarket and cash point (the cashpoint is regularly used and weirdly noisy) - the supermarket opens early - if you are a light sleeper the noise will wake you up. Interestingly we booked 2 rooms at the same price and they differed massively in terms of space and bathroom size - one was certainly worth more than the other. All in all it was a comfortable stay with friendly staff and a very hearty breakfast included. I probably wouldn't stay again as the price is on the high side for what it offers,

At 86 years old the staff treated like I was the Queen mother from arrival to departure. I have mobility problems not major but do need some assistance they were always there if I needed help. Cheerful and chatty. The meus suited my taste and I enjoyed all I had to eat. Going places on my own at my age not easy The staff made my weekend trip very Pleasurable.

Staff were super friendly and the hotel location is good but a couple of things were not great. Carpets coming up the stairs were filthy dirty soaked in a million spilt drinks. No room or hooks or heated rail to hang towels in the room. Coffee machine didn’t work. No room tidy or towel change so we had damp or wet towels each day as there was nowhere to dry them. Breakfast and dinner were really good though and staff very friendly. Had the window open to keep cool but very noisy late at night.

The place was perfect for a trip out of the city to a small seaside town! The staff were helpful dropping my bags into my room before check in! Helped to book taxis when needed and were a good source of entertainment at breakfast time! The place was very clean and the bed was so comfy! I loved the stay here and would highly recommend a stay! Very close to many golf courses

We loved every minute at The Law and recommend it highly. The staff was perfect, so welcoming and friendly. Donna, Finn, Holly all made us feel at home. The food was delicious too and the coffee was amazing. The Law was a perfect spot for our trip to Scotland. Miss it already.

The room was exceptionally large. We really appreciated that. The fact that there was no lift for our luggage was a big disappointment. Fortunately, the staff provided help in this matter.

The property was fine and full marks to the staff . Only criticism the stairway up to the upper floor rooms does not have a handrail which makes it very difficult for an elderly person. (No lift available)
