I stayed at this hotel for a business trip and was thoroughly impressed! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, exceptionally clean, and located in a fantastic area. Nestled on St Andrew Square in Edinburgh’s elegant New Town, it’s just a three-minute walk from Waverley Station and within easy strolling distance of Princes Street, George Street, and countless dining and shopping options . Housed in a beautifully restored bank, the luxury apartments feature fully equipped kitchens, premium bedding, and modern comforts, while on-site amenities—like the fitness centre, bar/lounge, daily breakfast at The Register Club, 24-hour front desk, and complimentary Wi-Fi—add an extra layer of convenience and style . Upon arriving to The Cheval, we were greeted by the hotel staff and notified that they were upgrading us to a Deluxe Suite! We were so delighted and the hotel was amazingly clean, comfortable and our suite was beautiful! We had everything including a washer/dryer in suite. I could go on and on about how wonderful our stay was in Edinburgh at the Cheval Grand. We will definitely miss the hospitality but will be back in the future!! 10/10 stars!!!

Formerly the headquarters building for the Bank of Scotland. Beautiful furnishings, comfortable bed, and a well stocked kitchen with washer/dryer combo. I could live here. Easy to walk from the Waverly Train Station, and accessible to all the significant sights, shopping & restaurants. Highly recommend.
