The most welcoming of guest houses

Vivienne and her staff are absolutely wonderful. We felt incredibly welcomed as soon as we walked in, the breakfast was delicious, and our room was cozy.

Vivienne was a great host 👌She began her help prior to us getting there. She was very welcoming and she always made herself very available with transportstion, pub and supermarket info. It was clean cozy room with nice view of her yard. The breakfast were very nice and she made you feel at home She even played soft classical Music in the background and pleasant details like she even put a chocolate Easter bunny 🐰 in each persons place on Easter 🐣 Sunday. Welcome stay in a well located B&B.

A fabulous stay in this lovely B&B. The host was warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Was happy to help with buses, places to visit and eat. Location was great for exploring Edinburgh.

Our host, Vivienne, was phenomenal! The Sherwood house is a beautiful property and obviously well cared for. The bed was comfortable and we had a large bathroom in our room. There is a bus stop just a few feet from the property. We will definitely stay here again.

Vivienne was very helpful and full of information! The house is lovely and right on the bus line to take you to the major attractions (and hop on hop off busses). It’s even walkable. The room was small, but functional, as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Edinburgh!

NIce stay in Sherwood guest house

Nice and quiet accommodation. Clean room, excellent breakfast. Vivienne, the owner, was friendly and helpful. Good beds and sheets. Bus stop next to the hotel, with good access to the city centre (Royal Mile). Bus to city centre in 10 min and walk in 20 min.
