Roomzzz was very conveniently located a couple of blocks from the Royal Mile and around the corner from some lively parts of New Town. We found it exceptionally clean and comfortable. The kitchenette would be really convenient if you wanted to cook in your room as food is a little expensive in Edinburgh. We loved the Platform 41 cafe across the street for great coffee and breakfast in the morning. It's also attached to a brand new mall with lots of shopping (mostly your usual chains) and some decent dining, which can be convenient if you need something, or a bite at the end of a long day. Highly recommend this place for Edinburgh travelers.

The location is excellent—right on top of the St James Centre, so shops, bars, and everything you need are just a short walk away. This hotel is a perfect place to stay when you want to be in walking distance of the royal mile and Princes Street. There is also an indoor/outdoor mall attached to the hotel, including nice shops, dining, and an Everyman cinema. My only complaint was the parking. It looked as if it was included in the price of the hotel, but it was actually 48 pounds for a couple of nights.
