This hotel had everything we needed for our visit. It was clean, large and had wonderful ammenities. It is right next to Edinburgh University and so convenient to everything you could ask for on your visit. It's just a few minute walk to shopping, food restaurants, museums, castles - and High Street (where all the tourists go to shop). Continental breakfast was great; fresh coffee or tea every morning and a good array of breakfast items to chose from. The rooms were big and had everything we required; kitchenette, large closets, sofa, comfy beds, full sized shower. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was wonderful.

This was a beautiful hotel which was centrally located. The breakfast was delicious with eggs, beans, bacon, lunch meat, cheese, cereals, yogurt, and homemade bread and pastries. Plus, they had a coffee maker with espresso! We were able to walk to the Royal Mile, the National Museum of Scotland, restaurants, and shops. Plus, they had a free washer and dryer!! The kitchenette included a convection oven, a small refrigerator, and a sink. Plus, there is a Sainsbury Local grocery around the corner if you want to prepare a meal. I truly enjoyed our stay at the Marriott.

Romm was spacious and clean. Room had a small sectional couch, table with 4 chairs. Also a small kitchenette with plates, cutlery, glasses and dishwasher.
