The property was quite one. However the staff made up for it by their friendliness and willingness to help. The restaurant was touching go for when it was open, and when it was not because of lack of staff. The location was not as great as I would’ve liked as we had to walk uphill to get to the High Street which was only a block away however it was a 90° incline so very sleep to walk if you have any mobility issues.

It was okay. Just average. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very small but nice. The heater didn’t work. And there was a smoke detector that flashed very brightly every 10 seconds all night long. It was worth it to be so close to the royal mile but it was very basic.
