This property is old and dated, but it was clean, comfortable, our host was great, and it offered more amenities than most of the high priced airbnbs we stayed in on this trip. And it's right on the tram line. Leith looked like a pretty cool area to explore if we'd had more time.

Comfortable, Clean & friendly

Met the proprietor Craig who was very friendly & informative upon arrival. The building is currently under refurbishment externally but once inside is very cozy. Room was a little dated but spotlessly clean & comfortable. Plenty of goods on offer to make yourself a continental breakfast in a very well equipped & spacious communal kitchen

Clean and comfortable

Charming older building a short walk from coffee shops, restaurants and Edinburgh’s excellent tram network and public transit. The room was tidy and serviceable, staff was friendly and responsive, all at a great price point. It’s not the Omni, to be clear, but it’s a comfortable place to use for exploring Edinburgh. Do note that there are stairs to the rooms so keep accessibility in mind.

The Pillars was located in a nice area with pubs and restraunts. It is close to the tram and neighborhood shops. The staff were great... they provided us with infomation on local activities, and quickly responded to any questions we had. Cosy room and a nice, fully-kitted kitchen to use Would definitely stay there again

Pillars House was a great stay in Edinburgh. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the accommodations themselves were clean and spacious. We would certainly stay here again on another visit.

We were a very last minute reservation as our flight was unexpectedly cancelled. The owners were incredibly welcoming & kind. The rooms are small but cozy & each has an en-suite bathroom. Enormous & well equipped kitchen for all residents to use. Short walk to public transportation.
