We loved our 3-night stay at the Parliament House. The room was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. We especially appreciated the elevator when it came time to move our luggage in or out! Be sure to ask for a table-top fan. It made a big difference for us on warm days. Our only disappointment was that our refrigerator didn’t work.

What a lovely hotel and only 5/7 minutes from Edinburgh Waverley Station. Lots of character, (I understand 3 houses joined together), and beautifully furnished; old style comfort. Nice friendly reception and I had a lovely single room. Important to note there is a lift, but because of the nature of the building some rooms only accessed via a short staircase. Recommend notifying the hotel if you have any mobility issues. Had a loved breakfast, nice big kipper with toast and great coffee. My only regret is not having a whisky in the snug. If you want a hotel with character, this is well recommended and good value.
