The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a perfect location in Edinburgh. It made getting around the city super simple . Waverley station and the castle were right outside the hotel.

Fantastic stay only 2 minutes walk from the royal mile and the train station. Perfect location and spotlessly clean hotel. The staff couldn't have been nicer , everything you need for a comfortable stay and the bar was fantastic aswell. Great value , especially with the military tattoo and the fringe going on highly recommended.

Great stay at NYX Edinburgh. The hotel is very new and it has all the amenities. Location you cannot beat this, it is right next to Royal mile and the train station so easy access to get around the old town and across as well. All the staff were super friendly. John helped us in multiple occasions and he was really very helpful through out the stay.

Starting off this hotel has amazing staff. I truly felt so safe and cared for during our stay. Prem and Kate were absolutely the best, they gave us some welcome sweets when we checked in which my brothers really enjoyed and asked if we needed any recommendations. They were so nice and as someone traveling with my two younger siblings it was nice to know we were taken care of. The hotel is beautiful, I was reluctant at first because of all the reviews but this hotel was nothing like the reviews I saw. It was super clean and close to the royal mile and sights while still having a sense of peace and calm. The Waverly train station is about 5 min down the road and the airlink is also right there as well. Super convenient location to arrive from the airport. Amazing stay. Thank you Nyx hotel!

The hotel had only been open for business for 3 days before we checked in. The rooms were very nice with all good amenities. Just a couple of notes I would suggest I am a frequent traveller for business as well as personal. The room service menu had very little choice especially if you are travelling with children, sometimes a simple sandwich on offer is all you need at the end of a long day but everything was very rich and highly flavoured The breakfast was very nicely laid out and good choices - just a note on the hot plates with the kids. They need to be in non slip surfaces as lifting the lid on any of them caused them to slip and move, could potentially be very dangerous when full of very hot food. These are very minor points Amazing hotel Perfect location Very comfy bed

We didn’t end up staying at the nyx as the hotel was still under construction, but we were automatically moved to the Leonardo Royal Hotel Edinburgh, which was a lovely hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful in booking a transfer to the hotel for an early flight out and the hotel was close to many sights in Edinburgh.

I did not in fact stay at Nyx, but the Leonardo next door. Nyx had not yet opened and no one told me or notified me I would in fact be staying at a different hotel. We came earlier, but had we arrived later on I would probably not have accidentally met some of the future staff at Nyx to find out the situation. They didn’t seem to care at all about this and just nonchalantly said sorry. The Leonardo however was lovely and I really recommend! Friendly and helpful staff, clean, safe and modern.

The NYX Edinburgh was a true Gem of a hotel! It was perfectly located right below the royal mile close to everything you want to see. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved the decore, it was fun. The room was beautiful and the bed was beyond comfortable. The shower was Amazing and the products they have are fantastic. We can’t wait to come back to Edinburgh and will be staying at the NYX again without a second thought.

The NYX was renovated a week prior to checking in. Very clean, lively atmosphere with excellent helpful staff. Katryna at the front desk was extremely nice to deal with. Hotel location is central with walking distance to everything. Bedroom although a lil small was comfortable with rainfall shower facilities. Overall a great stay!
